Nariwone 54 is a member of the African Ophthalmology Council.

We are honored to announce that we are now members of the African Ophthalmology Council (AOC), a supranational organization dedicated to representing the interests of national and sub-regional ophthalmology societies in sub-Saharan Africa, as well as their members. This platform also enables ophthalmologists from the diaspora to contribute to the improvement of eye care in sub-Saharan Africa.

For Nariwone 54, this membership represents a significant advancement. The AOC is a joint initiative of the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) and the Middle East Africa Council of Ophthalmology (MEACO), known as the Advisory Leadership Group for Sub-Saharan Africa (ALG). This group aims to strengthen the practice of ophthalmology on the African continent.

Our participation in the AOC allows us to thrive in a conducive environment and actively participate in the Africa Vision forum, launched in May 2009 on Yahoo! Groups. This forum brings together English-speaking and French-speaking ophthalmologists from Africa and the diaspora, as well as ophthalmologists from other regions of the world interested in ophthalmology in Africa

Partnership between NARIWONE 54 and SUNU Assurances IARD Centrafrique

It brings together a pool of optometrists, ophthalmologists, opticians, and nurses from the Comoros and Africa, capable of providing effective and coordinated solutions to improve the living conditions of the blind and visually impaired across the entire continent of Africa.

This pool of Comorian and African technicians is committed to providing necessary support through preventive and curative care, as well as training programs to help develop and empower these men and women to gain skills, enabling them to become economically and socially self-sufficient.

Looking ahead, NARIWONE 54 plans to establish ophthalmology and optometry complexes in African countries with various specialized services for the anterior and posterior segments of the eye. These complexes will offer screenings, preventive and curative care, and staff training for better qualifications, all aimed at improving the living conditions of the blind and visually impaired. After all, "The joy of life is in sight!"
